Successful High-Rise Fire Drill Completed at 60 State Street in Boston

More than 100 firefighters took part in an advanced technology fire drill at 60 State in Boston in October 2017.

The event was the seventh drill in a major U.S. city in the past two years for Massey, providing a unique partnership in training and supporting first responders and building managers to be prepared when a crisis erupts.

Fox 25 TV news coverage of the event is here, in the “media” section of this website. http://www.disasterplanning.com/media/videos/fox25-tv-news-2017-boston-drill

Oxford Properties hosted the training exercise at their building in a community where all the company’s high-rise assets have the complete Massey Emergency Management System.

The Massey App subscription is shared with incident commanders for both Boston Fire and Police/SWAT personnel for use at the command post during any type of emergency.  It’s an indicator how widespread advanced technology has become, with 11 of the 14 largest metropolitan areas of the U.S. having fire, police or both taking advantage of the Massey System.
